The Intramuros Administration (IA) and the City of Manila signed a Memorandum of Agreement on November 22. Both parties agreed to develop and implement “Undertaking an Educational and Cultural Awareness Program,” which involves members and officials of Intramuros’ barangays as well as families enrolled under the “Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program” (4Ps). The program aims to promote awareness of the history of the City of Manila among the constituents of Intramuros. The IA shall also ensure free access to the historic areas of Intramuros for the intended beneficiaries of the program, and the City of Manila shall provide assistance to the latter through the provision of necessary logistical arrangements.
